Group Purchasing Services, Inc.

GPS was founded in 1991, and serves more than 200 health related, education, and other business organizations. GPS has a primary focus in New York State and New England.

The primary goal of GPS is service excellence. GPS has a personal commitment to remain "personally in touch"... to ensure the needs of GPS members are addressed in a proper, timely manner.

GPS has boldly augmented its own portfolio of contracts by affiliating with organizations, which in our opinion, offer the very best in group purchasing
and shared services programs. GPS is elated to have formed strategic partnerships with MedAssets and MAGNET. As a result, GPS is able to offer access to a portfolio of equipment, products, and services which has sweeping suitability for a broad spectrum of needs.

GPS and MedAssets share a common commitment to provide contract access through electronic excellence. The GPS Catalog on CD provides quick access to the GPS, MAGNET agreements, while MedAssets features their state-of-the-art CDQuick. CDQuick and Catalog on CD dramatically help to eliminate the paperwork overload so typically associated with GPO contracts.

Mid-Atlantic Group Network of Shared Services, Inc.
MAGNET
and HCSC

MAGNET was founded in 1979 to develop contracts, on behalf of its member GPOs, in the niche market of capital equipment. Through its member groups, MAGNET serves approximately 12,000 healthcare facilities in 16 states plus the District of Columbia.

The participating facilities include over 900 Acute Care Hospitals representing 275,000 beds, 1,350 Long Term Care Facilities representing 150,000 beds, over 9,000 Physician Offices/Clinics, and almost 1,000 other affiliated healthcare organizations. In fact, almost 25% of the nation's healthcare is delivered within MAGNET's geography.

MAGNET achieves national account status through the volume it represents through its regional member groups. In concert with its member groups, MAGNET offers a comprehensive portfolio of products and services to meet the complex purchasing needs of the healthcare provider community.
